Calculus VCT Plc's Board appointed Moore Kingston Smith (MKS) as its new independent auditor with immediate effect on 21 September 2023, replacing the Company's previous auditor, BDO LLP. MKS was approved as the auditor for the financial year ending 31 March 2024, with re-appointment for the financial year ending 31 March 2025 subject to shareholder approval at the 2024 Annual General Meeting. BDO LLP deposited a statement in accordance with Section 519 of the Companies Act 2006, confirming no matters for Members or Creditors.

Change of Auditor
Following a formal selection process, the Board of Calculus VCT Plc has appointed Moore Kingston Smith ("MKS") as its new independent auditor with immediate effect. The Company elected to change auditors to MKS as the Board feel that MKS is a firm more suited to the size of Calculus VCT plc.
The Board has approved the appointment of MKS as the Company's auditor for the financial year ending 31 March 2024. The re-appointment of MKS for the financial year ending 31 March 2025 will be subject to approval by shareholders at the next Annual General Meeting of the Company to be held in 2024.
In accordance with Section 519 of the Companies Act 2006, the Company's previous auditor, BDO LLP, has deposited with the Company a statement confirming that there are no matters to be brought to the attention of the Company's Members or Creditors. A copy of their statement will be made public alongside the publication of the half-yearly Financial Report.
