České Radiokomunikace (CRA) signs 5-year agreement with blue chip broadcaster AMC

Cordiant Digital Infrastructure Limited (the "Company"), an operationally focused investor in the core digital infrastructure that enables modern communications and the internet, announces that portfolio company CRA has signed a 5-year agreement with blue chip pay TV broadcaster AMC Networks International (AMC) a global provider of well-known content such as AMC, Film+ and Sport1.

This agreement underscores the new ways in which broadcast is being used in modern digital networks to improve efficiency, increase access and support sustainability initiatives. The agreement, effective from 1 March 2023, allows AMC channels that were up to now only available on subscription or over-the-top services to be broadcast. This was enabled by CRA's recent upgrade to next-generation DVB-T2 technology, the kind of investment that is a hallmark of Cordiant's "buy, build & grow" investing philosophy.

Spektrum Home is a lifestyle and entertainment channel concentrating on providing a great selection of films, series, inspiring and relaxing factual programmes such as home improvement, interior design, architecture, property, travel and gardening. In addition to the most popular home related programmes coming from the biggest distributors like BBC, Fremantle or All3Media, the programme line-up is planned to be gradually expanded and new genres to be continuously added.

In the channel portfolio of AMC, Central European sports fans can enjoy live and exclusive Formula One racing events and UEFA European Qualification package with exclusive Slovak National Team matches. Champions Hockey League, UEFA Europa and Conference League matches, Spanish Copa del Rey and EHF Handball Champions League are also aired on Sport1.

In addition to sport, AMC original titles like Fear the Walking Dead and popular films on Film+ are to entertain viewers. In the kids' portfolio, popular series like Baby Boss, My Little Pony and Masha and the Bear are aired on Minimax and JimJam.
