Approval of Senior Management's Appointment Qualifications

Reference is made to the announcement of China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co., Ltd. (the "Company" or "CPIC") dated 30 October 2024 in relation to the appointment of vice president and change of finance responsible person (the "Announcement"). The board of directors of the Company passed a resolution on 30 October 2024, agreeing to appoint Mr. SU Gang ("Mr. SU") as the vice president and finance responsible person of the Company for a term until the conclusion of the term of the current session of the board of directors. The appointment qualifications of Mr. SU as the vice president and finance responsible person of the Company are subject to the approval of the regulatory authorities.

The Company is pleased to announce that the Company has recently received the "Approval of Appointment Qualifications of SU Gang as the Vice President and Finance Responsible Person of China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co., Ltd." (Jin Fu [2025] No. 45) issued by the National Financial Regulatory Administration (the "NFRA"). The NFRA has approved the appointment qualifications of Mr. SU as vice president and finance responsible person of the Company. The term of office of Mr. SU as vice president and finance responsible person of the Company became effective on 21 January 2025.
