Preliminary Unaudited Net Asset Value announcement for 31 March 2023
The Board of Dunedin Enterprise Investment Trust PLC is pleased to announce a preliminary unaudited net asset value of 627.0p per share as at 31 March 2023 (627.1p at 31 December 2022). This is stated before payment of a final dividend of 25p per share payable on 19 May 2023 if approved by shareholders at the AGM on 10 May 2023.
The preliminary unaudited net asset value has been calculated using the underlying managers' latest valuations (including those received since 31 March 2023), which remain subject to review by the Board of Directors.
Based on those valuations, as at 31 March 2023, the Company's unlisted investments were valued at £16.9m. The Company also held cash balances of £13.2m and net current assets of £4.4m making total net assets of £34.5m.
The finalised net asset value per share will be published around 11 May 2023.
