Subsidiary Board Appointment

Eight Capital (AQSE: ECP), the financial services fintech operating group that aims to source and deliver tech, fintech and other on-trend-sector transactions, is pleased to announce that its wholly owned independent corporate advisory subsidiary, Innovative Finance Srl ("InnFin"), has appointed Mr Luciano Maranzana to its board as Managing Director.

Mr Maranzana, 59, has enjoyed a highly successful professional career spanning nearly 30 years, primarily in real estate asset management including as managing Director, Italy and Spain for UK property group, Hammerson plc and as Fund Manager at Pirelli Real Estate Sgr. where he was responsible for a €750 million quoted real estate fund, launching, structuring and managing the property portfolio, investor relations and liquidity investments/divestments.

From 2005 to 2016 Mr Maranzana was Managing Director of Valore Reale  Sgr Spa, a closed-end real estate fund management company, where under his leadership, the company grew from 5 to over 30 employees with 20 funds underwritten and fully invested with combined assets under management of more than €1.8 billion. Latterly, he was Development and Asset manager for Europa Risorse

He joins from Negentropy Capital Partners Italia, a London-based alternative investment management and advisory company focussed on opportunistic credit and real estate assets where he was a Director.
