Ecclesiastical Insurance Office plc announced on 16 October 2025 that David Henderson will retire as Chair of the Board and Benefact Group plc on 31 December 2025, after nine years of service during which the company surpassed its target to give over £250m to good causes. Francois-Xavier Boisseau will succeed Henderson as Chair, effective 1 January 2026, and will step down as Senior Independent Director and Chair of the Risk Committee on 31 December 2025. Jim Coyle will then succeed Boisseau as Senior Independent Director from 1 January 2026.

After nine years of service, the Board of Ecclesiastical Insurance Office plc announces that David Henderson will retire as Chair of the Board (and of the parent company, Benefact Group plc) with effect from 31 December 2025. He will be succeeded by Francois-Xavier Boisseau effective 1st January 2026.
Francois-Xavier Boisseau will step down as Senior Independent Director ('SID') with effect from 31st December 2025 and as Chair of the Risk Committee. Jim Coyle will succeed him as SID with effect from 1st January 2026.
