Appointment of Independent Non-Executive Director

James Fisher and Sons plc ("James Fisher" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that Ian Chambers will join the Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee with effect from 1 April 2027. Ian will also serve as a member of the Remuneration and Nomination Committees.

Ian is a senior audit partner with PwC UK where he has also held a number of leadership roles including Global Assurance Market Leader, EMEA Assurance Leader and Chair of the PwC Audit Committee Network.  Ian will retire from PwC on 30 June 2027.

James Fisher also announces that Justin Atkinson will step down from the Board at the conclusion of the 2027 AGM. Justin will remain as Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee until 31 March 2027 and will remain as a Non-Executive Director until the conclusion of the Company's 2027 AGM to facilitate a smooth handover to Ian.
