Estadio Deportes signs Digital Sponsorship Agreement with Feenicia of Mexico City

Gana Media Group plc is pleased to announce that Estadio Deportes, the Groups Mexican sports media platform, has signed a strategic advertising agreement with Feenicia of Mexico City. Feenicia, Mexico, is a trusted multi-platform point-of-sale payment solutions provider.

Feenicia will run advertising campaigns across the estadiodeportes.mx platform, placing its brand in front of millions of passionate Mexican sports fans at a landmark moment for the country's sporting landscape.

The partnership positions Feenicia alongside one of the most engaged sports audiences in Mexico, as estadiodeportes.mx accelerates its growth strategy ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026 - the first edition of the tournament to be hosted in Mexico since 1986.

The opening match is scheduled to take place at the iconic Estadio Azteca in Mexico City on June 11, 2026.

Partnership Highlights

• Audience reach: Feenicia's advertising will be displayed across estadiodeportes.mx, reaching a rapidly growing audience of Mexican sports fans with a strong affinity for Liga MX, the Mexican National Team, and international football.

• World Cup timing: The partnership launches ahead of FIFA World Cup 2026, when estadiodeportes.mx is targeting a major traffic surge, maximising visibility for Feenicia at peak audience levels.

• Shared values: Both brands share a commitment to empowering everyday Mexicans - Feenicia through accessible payment technology for small businesses, and Estadio Deportes through democratising access to quality sports journalism.

• Growth trajectory: Estadio Deportes is continuing to grow its core audience daily, providing Feenicia with a premium, high-engagement digital environment for its campaigns.

Estadio Deportes continues its growth as a sports media platform, specialising in Mexican football, development leagues, and all major sporting events and this new relationship looks to further monetise that growing audience.
