GetBusy strengthens its strategic partnership with Intuit

GetBusy plc (AIM: GETB), a leading provider of productivity software for professional and financial services, is pleased to announce it has strengthened its strategic partnership with Intuit, the leading provider of tax software to accounting professionals, through the addition of Intuit ProConnect Tax into the suite of products integrating natively with SmartVault.  ProConnect customers can now join the thousands of other Intuit customers that rely on SmartVault to secure and manage their documents.

Under the terms of the agreement, SmartVault will launch a co-branded integrated document management and workflow package exclusively for customers of ProConnect Tax, Intuit's fast-growing online professional tax software application with built-in tax advisory insights.  SmartVault is the first natively integrated online document management solution and portal platform to integrate with ProConnect Tax, giving customers a fully digital, fully automated workflow to collect, manage, and securely share documents with clients across ProConnect and other integrated apps.

Daniel Rabie, CEO of GetBusy, commented:

"We're very excited to strengthen our long-standing strategic partnership with Intuit by providing the only natively integrated document management solution for ProConnect customers, supporting the acceleration of cloud adoption for the c. 100,000 users^* of Intuit's Lacerte and ProSeries tax products as well as ProConnect's rapidly increasing market share.

"The combination of ProConnect's cutting-edge cloud tax compliance and advisory capabilities with SmartVault's deep expertise in secure and efficient document management and workflow, gives tax professionals an outstanding platform from which to scale their practice profitably and securely in an increasingly complex market.

"SmartVault now integrates with every major professional tax prep application, serving as an app-agnostic content spine that is the single source of truth across the multiple technologies used by tax professionals.

"The GetBusy Board is increasingly confident in SmartVault's strategically valuable position in the US accounting market, which this strengthened partnership significantly enhances, and remains excited about the long-term shareholder value creation prospects for the business."
