FTSE Russell announced changes to the FTSE UK Index Series, conditional on the court sanctioning the acquisition of Bakkavor Group by Greencore Group, with terms comprising cash, stock, and a contingent value right. Bakkavor Group will be deleted from the FTSE 250 index. Effective 12 January 2026, Saga will be added to the FTSE 250 index and deleted from the FTSE SmallCap index, and Greencore Group will remain in the FTSE 250 index.

Subject court sanctioning the Scheme of Arrangement in relation to the Acquisition of Bakkavor Group (UK, constituent) by Greencore Group (UK, constituent), with terms which compromise cash, stock and a contingent value right, please see details of affected indexes and effective dates below:
Bakkavor Group (UK, BF8J3Z9) will be deleted from the FTSE 250 index.
Saga (UK, BMX64W8) will be added to the FTSE 250 index and deleted from the FTSE SmallCap index.
Greencore Group (UK, 0386410) will remain in the FTSE 250 index.
All changes effective from 12 January 2026.
