Market Purchase by the Company of its own Shares

Notification is given that, pursuant to the authority granted at the Annual General Meeting of the Company held on 2 October 2024 to make market purchases of the Company's own ordinary shares up to a maximum of 14.99%, on 7 February 2025 a market purchase of 15,889 ordinary shares in the capital of the Company was made at a price of 810.1310p per share, and a market purchase of 30,000 ordinary shares was made at a price of 809.5924p per share. The purchased shares will be held in Treasury. 

Following the above purchase, the Company's issued ordinary share capital continues to be 74,385,131 ordinary shares of 25p each, of which 1,030,000 shares are held in Treasury and have no voting rights.

Holders of the Company's ordinary shares are entitled to one vote for every share held. As Treasury shares have no voting rights, the total number of voting rights is 73,355,131. There are also 4,257 preference stock units in issue, which do not carry voting rights.
