Completion of the share repurchase programme
In relation to the share repurchase programme (the 'Share Repurchase Programme') announced on 24 May 2022, following the purchases made on 8 June 2022, INTERNATIONAL CONSOLIDATED AIRLINES GROUP, S.A. ("IAG" or the "Company") has concluded this Share Repurchase Programme in accordance with its terms.
Under the Share Repurchase Programme, the Company has acquired a total of 15,000,000 ordinary shares, representing approximately 0.3 per cent of the Company's share capital.
The acquisition of own shares under this Share Repurchase Programme has been carried out in accordance with the Market Abuse Regulation (EU) 596/2014 and Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/1052, and in accordance with Chapter 12 of the UK Listing Rules.
As communicated at the time, the purpose of this Share Repurchase Programme was to satisfy share awards made under the IAG share-based incentive plans.
