IAG converts 10 A320neo family options into firm orders

International Airlines Group (IAG) is converting 10 A320neo family options, described in the circular published by the Company on 22 September 2022, into firm orders for 10 A320neos, with the option to convert certain aircraft into A321neos.

These aircraft will be delivered in 2028 and will be used by any of the Group's current airlines to replace A320ceo family aircraft.

Luis Gallego, IAG Chief Executive Officer, said: "These latest generation aircraft are more cost and fuel efficient than those they will replace and will help towards our commitment to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050."

NOTE TO EDITORS:

·    The A320neo list price is approximately US$120 million and the A321neo list price is approximately US$140 million. IAG has negotiated a substantial discount from the list prices.

·    IAG will make the engine selection for the aircraft closer to the delivery time.

·    The Group has a range of financing options and will choose the most appropriate financing source closer to the delivery time.

·    These aircraft orders are consistent with IAG's previously communicated capital expenditure plans.
