REPURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES FOR TREASURY STOCK

JPMorgan Indian Investment Trust plc has today purchased 43,856 ordinary shares into Treasury at 807.2918 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 22,091,329 ordinary shares in Treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of Treasury shares is 77,382,522. The Company will only re-issue shares held in Treasury at a premium to net asset value.
