REPURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES FOR TREASURY STOCK

JPMorgan Indian Investment Trust plc purchased 10,000 ordinary shares into Treasury at 798.9831 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 22,254,290 ordinary shares in Treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of Treasury shares is 77,219,561. The Company will only re-issue shares held in Treasury at a premium to net asset value.
