Launch of Dedicated Ethereum Validators

KR1 plc (LSE: KR1), a London Stock Exchange-listed onchain infrastructure company, today announces the launch of its own dedicated Ethereum (“ETH”) validators, delivering on the broader operational strategy first outlined in the Company’s October 2025 Prospectus.

The launch advances KR1's mission to unlock public-market access to the productive digital assets and onchain infrastructure driving the AI-crypto convergence, by allowing the Company to stake ETH and earn rewards with clear attribution from validators (the infrastructure responsible for securing the network and capturing network fees), while enabling optional stETH minting for liquidity on demand.

The KR1 validators run in a dedicated Lido stVault, operated by P2P.org. KR1 maintains control over the vault settings, including deposits and withdrawals, the validator fee arrangement, stETH minting, and roles and permissions.

The launch begins with an initial set of 10 validators, with plans to scale beyond 100 validators and stake a large majority of the Company’s 6,200 ETH position over time. Utilising a dedicated validator architecture grants the Company greater control over its staking operations and optimises the net retained income on its ETH holdings. The timing of full deployment remains dependent on Ethereum's validator entry queue.

“Today’s launch is a key milestone for the Company, delivering on the validator plans we set out last year: dedicated KR1 plc Ethereum validators powered by Lido's institutional stVaults in collaboration with P2P.org. As seed investors in Lido, it is incredibly rewarding to now utilise their architecture to power our own operations. This gives public-market investors a clearly attributed route into the infrastructure income at the centre of KR1’s operating strategy, while reinforcing our position as the only dedicated infrastructure operator on the London Stock Exchange Main Market.”

George McDonaugh and Keld van Schreven, Managing Directors and Co-Founders, KR1 plc

“As more listed companies bring digital assets onto their balance sheets, the infrastructure behind that stake matters as much as the asset itself. The uptime, the slashing record and the per validator reporting all come from the operator, and for KR1's dedicated set that’s us. stVaults unlock optional liquidity on top of the validators, without commingling funds in a pool. It’s a different level of accountability to running a shared pool, and we think that’s where institutional staking is going.”

Amir Kahoori, Ethereum Senior Product Manager at P2P.org

“Institutions are showing growing interest in staking on their own terms: with control over their staking setup, without compromising on compliance, and with access to liquidity and more flexible yield strategies. That is what stVaults are designed for KR1, the first publicly listed company to launch its own branded validators on Lido stVaults, is a clear example of that shift.”
Kean Gilbert, Head of Institutional Relations, Lido Ecosystem Foundation
