Issue of Equity
On 23 May 2022 The Law Debenture Corporation p.l.c. (the "Corporation") issued 50,000 new ordinary shares of 5 pence each at a price of (1) £7.955 per share for 25,000 shares and (2) £7.96 per share for 25,000 shares; these shares rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares in issue. The issue price equates to a premium to the net asset value per share at the time of the relevant transactions.
As a result of the issuances, the total number of ordinary shares in issue now stands at 125,915,835 and the total number of voting rights in the Corporation is 125,915,835. There are no shares held in treasury.
The above figure of 125,915,835 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculation by which they may determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or change to their interest in, the Corporation under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
