Apex Financial Services (Trust Company) Limited, is the sole Trustee of the Mears Group plc Employee Benefit Trust. In addition to this report being filed, on examination of the Trust's records, it was found that the 3% threshold of total voting rights was first passed on 06 June 2024, then again on 24 June 2024 and the 4% threshold on 2 July 2024, although corresponding TR-1 reports were not submitted on those dates. We therefore wish to apologise for this late notice and ask to retrospectively log these details now. We further wish to note that as a matter of course, the Trustee refrains from voting over its shareholding.
