Transactions in own shares

Origin Enterprises plc (the "Company") announces that on 26 May 2022 it purchased a total of 44,584 of its ordinary shares of EUR 0.01 each (the "ordinary shares") on Euronext Dublin through Goodbody Stockbrokers UC ("Goodbody"), as detailed below.  

Following settlement of the above purchases, the Company's total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares) shall be 116,304,814 (each carrying the right to one vote) and the Company's total number of ordinary shares in treasury (which do not carry voting rights) shall be 10,097,848.

The repurchased ordinary shares will be held in treasury pending their cancellation or re-issue in due course. The purchases form part of the Company's €40m share buyback programme announced on 8 March 2022.

In accordance with Article 5(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 (the Market Abuse Regulation) (and the equivalent requirements now enshrined in UK domestic law), the detailed breakdown of individual trades made by Goodbody on behalf of the Company as part of the share buyback programme is set out in the Appendix to this announcement.
