On 16 November 2023, Oryx International Growth Fund Limited's Directors noted the proposed acquisition of The City Pub Group Plc by Young & Co.'s Brewery Plc, which resulted in an uplift of approximately £1.8m on Oryx's 31 October 2023 NAV, equivalent to circa 13p per share. The Directors of Oryx International Growth Fund Limited (the ''Fund'' or "Oryx") are pleased to note the proposed acquisition by Young & Co.'s Brewery Plc of The City Pub Group Plc.
Based on the proposed acquisition price, this results in an uplift on the 31 October 2023 NAV of approximately £1.8m, equivalent to circa 13p per share. The shares were acquired by Oryx over the course of the current year, and the sale will achieve a profit of circa 60% in excess of cost.
