Pearson plc (the Company) announces today it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 25 pence each on the London Stock Exchange from Citigroup Global Markets Limited.

Aggregate number of ordinary shares of 25 pence each purchased:                                   162,132

Lowest price paid per share:                                                                                          1,004.50p

Highest price paid per share:                                                                                         1,013.50p

Average price paid per share:                                                                                        1,007.98p

The Company will cancel the purchased shares.

These share purchases form part of the Company's existing buy-back programme, details of which were announced on 1 March 2024.
