Schroder British Opportunities Trust plc announced that Mr Neil England retired from its Board immediately following the Annual General Meeting held on September 18, 2024, having served four years since the company's Initial Public Offering in 2020. Mr Justin Ward succeeded Mr England as the new Independent Non-Executive Chairman, assuming this position with immediate effect.

Directorate Changes
As set out in the Company's Annual Report and Financial Statements for the year ended 31 March 2024, Mr Neil England retired from the Board immediately following the Annual General Meeting held today.
Mr Justin Ward will succeed Mr England as the new Independent Non-Executive Chairman and will assume this position with immediate effect.
The Board would like to thank Mr England for his four years of leadership from the Company's Initial Public Offering in 2020 and wishes him every success in his future endeavours.
