Sequoia Economic Infrastructure Income Fund Limited

Purchase of Shares in connection with payment of Investment Adviser fees

The Company announces that, in accordance with the terms of the Investment Advisory Agreement between the Company and Sequoia Investment Management Company Limited (the "Investment Adviser"), the Investment Adviser has acquired 299,750 ordinary shares in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a volume weighted average price of 83.4 pence per Ordinary Share. This acquisition, which was actioned following the end of the recent closed period,  is a delayed acquisition of Ordinary Shares in relation to fees payable to the Investment Adviser for the three-month period ended 30 June 2023 which did not complete during July 2023 in line with the Company's usual timetable. The Ordinary Shares have been purchased pursuant to the Investment Advisory Agreement ("IAA"), details of which were disclosed in the prospectus published by the Company on 10 February 2020.

Following the purchase, the Investment Adviser has an interest in 5,407,668 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.33% of the Company's issued Ordinary Shares (excluding Treasury Shares).
