Standard Chartered PLC ("SC") announced on 30 March 2026 that it purchased 964,000 of its ordinary shares from J.P. Morgan Securities plc on 27 March 2026, as part of a previously detailed share buy-back programme. The shares were acquired at a volume weighted average price of 1,540.9103 GB pence, with prices ranging from 1,528.5000 GB pence to 1,565.0000 GB pence. As of the preceding trading day, SC had applied US$410,922,300.84 to the buy-back, and intends to cancel the purchased shares, resulting in 2,234,136,574 ordinary shares in issue.

Standard Chartered PLC ("SC") announces that on 27 March 2026 it purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of US$0.50 each from J.P. Morgan Securities plc pursuant to the share buy-back programme previously detailed in the announcement of 24 February 2026 (the "Buy-back").

As at close of business London time on the trading day preceding the date of this announcement, SC had applied an aggregate of US$410,922,300.84 to share purchases pursuant to the Buy-back.
SC intends to cancel the purchased shares. Following the cancellation of the purchased shares, SC will have 2,234,136,574 ordinary shares in issue. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in SC will be 2,234,136,574.
Any such share purchases will be effected in accordance with certain pre-set parameters and limits, and in accordance with applicable law and regulation as described in more detail in SCs announcement of 24 February 2026.
