Telecom Egypt S.A.E. announced on 16 April 2024 that Mr. Mohamed Hassan Shamroukh Gomaa resigned from its Board of Directors and as Senior Vice President - Chief Financial Officer, following his appointment as Chief Executive Officer of the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority. Concurrently, Mr. Wael Hanafy Mahmoud was tasked with managing the responsibilities of the Vice President - Chief Financial Officer until the appointment procedures for a permanent Chief Financial Officer are completed.

Subject: Summary of the Decisions Adopted by the Board of Directors at its Session held on 15 April 2024
With reference to the above, we would like to inform you of the following:
- Mr. Mohamed Hassan Shamroukh Gomaa has resigned from both his membership on Telecom Egypt's Board of Directors and his role as Senior Vice President - Chief Financial Officer in light of his appointment as the Chief Executive Officer of the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority.
- Mr. Wael Hanafy Mahmoud, the Senior Director of Finance and Investor Relations Manager, has been tasked with managing the responsibilities of the Vice President - Chief Financial Officer until the appointment procedures for a Chief Financial Officer are completed.
