On 21 February 2024, Virgin Money UK PLC purchased a total of 352,422 of its ordinary shares on the London Stock Exchange, Chi-X Europe, and BATS Europe, through its broker Goldman Sachs International. These shares were bought at prices ranging from £1.5785 to £1.6040 and will be cancelled as part of the company's buyback programme, increasing the total shares bought back under the program to 37,445,367. Following the cancellation, the Company's total ordinary shares in issue will be 1,298,584,759.
