Delete your account

How to delete your Ticker account and what happens to your data.

Ticker is provided by IR Data Services Ltd. You can delete your Ticker account, and the personal data tied to it, at any time, directly and free of charge. This page explains how, and what is removed.

Delete from the Ticker app

  1. Open the Ticker app on your phone.
  2. Go to the Menu tab and open your Account.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm. Your account and data are removed straight away.

Delete on the web

  1. Sign in at ticker.app/account.
  2. Open the Security section.
  3. Choose Delete account and confirm.

Can’t sign in?

If you can no longer access your account, use the contact page to request deletion. Send the request from the email address on your account so we can verify it’s you.

What is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

  • Your account and sign-in credentials.
  • Your profile — name and email address.
  • Your onboarding details, such as investor type, portfolio-size band, goals and risk tolerance.
  • Your watchlists.
  • Your event registrations.

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. Watchlists and profile data are shared between the Ticker app and the website, so deleting in one place removes them from both.

What we keep

We retain only what we are legally required to, such as minimal records needed for accounting or to meet legal obligations, and aggregated or anonymised data that is no longer linked to you. Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged in the normal backup-rotation cycle, within 30 days.
