National Grid plc announced on 24 September 2025 that its Chief Executive, John Pettigrew, will join the Board of BAE Systems plc as a Non-executive Director and a member of its Audit and Risk Committee, effective from 23 February 2026. Pettigrew will retire from his current role as Chief Executive of National Grid effective 16 November 2025.

Director Declaration
In accordance with UK Listing Rule 6.4.9R(2), National Grid announces that John Pettigrew, Chief Executive of the Company, will join the Board of BAE Systems plc as a Non-executive Director and member of its Audit and Risk Committee with effect from 23 February 2026.
As announced on 1 May 2025, John will retire from his role as Chief Executive of National Grid effective 16 November 2025.
