On 2 May 2025, Octopus Renewables Infrastructure Trust plc announced the appointment of Mr Sarim Sheikh as Senior Independent Director. This appointment is effective from the conclusion of the 2025 Annual General Meeting on 13 June 2025, at which point he will succeed Mrs Audrey McNair, whose retirement from the Board effective on the same date was announced on 5 December 2024. Mr Sheikh has served as an independent non-executive Director of the Company since June 2023.

The Board of Octopus Renewables Infrastructure Trust plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Sarim Sheikh as Senior Independent Director with effect from the conclusion of the 2025 Annual General Meeting to be held on 13 June 2025. He will take over this responsibility from Mrs Audrey McNair whose intended retirement from the Board of the Company with effect from 13 June 2025 was announced on 5 December 2024.
Mr Sheikh has served as an independent non-executive Director of the Company since June 2023.
