Whitbread PLC confirmed that its Chief Executive, Alison Brittain, is to be appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chair Designate of Dunelm Group plc. This appointment is effective from 7 September 2022. She is expected to step up as Chair next year, in advance of the current Chair's nine-year term expiring in September 2023.

Pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.14 (2), we confirm that Alison Brittain, Chief Executive of Whitbread PLC, is to be appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chair Designate of Dunelm Group plc. Alison will join the Board with effect from 7 September 2022, and it is expected that she will step up as Chair next year, in advance of the expiry of the current Chair's nine year term in September 2023.
