Whitbread PLC purchased 128,099 of its ordinary shares on 15 May 2023 from Morgan Stanley & Co. International Plc, at a volume weighted average price of 3,238.94p. This transaction was pursuant to instructions issued on 25 April 2023, bringing the total shares acquired by Whitbread since that date to 1,457,936 at a cost of £47,372,703.07. Whitbread intends to cancel the purchased shares and, following settlement, holds 12,454,718 ordinary shares in treasury with 213,094,581 shares in issue.

Whitbread PLC ("Whitbread") announces today that it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 76 122/153 pence each on the London Stock Exchange and Multilateral Trading Facilities from Morgan Stanley & Co. International Plc. Such purchase was effected pursuant to instructions issued by Whitbread on 25 April 2023, as announced on 25 April 2023:
