Whitbread PLC announced on 17 May 2023 that it purchased 46,215 of its ordinary shares on 16 May 2023 via Morgan Stanley & Co. International Plc, at a volume weighted average price of 3,263.19p and prices ranging from 3,248.00p to 3,280.00p. Since 25 April 2023, Whitbread has purchased 1,504,151 shares at a cost of £48,880,786.33 and intends to cancel the purchased shares. Following settlement, Whitbread will hold 12,454,718 ordinary shares in treasury and have 213,048,366 ordinary shares in issue.

Whitbread PLC ("Whitbread") announces today that it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 76 122/153 pence each on the London Stock Exchange and Multilateral Trading Facilities from Morgan Stanley & Co. International Plc. Such purchase was effected pursuant to instructions issued by Whitbread on 25 April 2023, as announced on 25 April 2023:
