Whitbread PLC ("Whitbread") announces today that it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 76 122/153 pence each on the London Stock Exchange and Multilateral Trading Facilities from Morgan Stanley & Co. International Plc ("Morgan Stanley"). Such purchase was effected pursuant to instructions issued by Whitbread on 18 October 2023, as announced on 18 October 2023:

Since 18 October 2023, Whitbread has purchased 3,573,530 shares at a cost (excluding dealing and associated costs) of £117,023,914.02.
Following settlement of the above transaction, Whitbread will hold 12,454,718 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 202,131,918 ordinary shares in issue.
