This purchase was made pursuant to instructions issued on 18 October 2023, bringing the total shares purchased since that date to 8,387,952 at a cost of £282,265,554.89. Following settlement of this transaction, Whitbread will hold 12,454,718 ordinary shares in treasury, has 197,461,848 ordinary shares in issue, and intends to cancel the purchased shares.
