Whitbread PLC ('Whitbread") announces today that it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 76 122/153 pence each through Morgan Stanley & Co. International Plc ('Morgan Stanley'). Such purchase was effected pursuant to instructions issued by Whitbread pursuant to the share buy-back programme as announced on 1 May 2025:

Whitbread intends to cancel the purchased shares.
Since 1 May 2025, Whitbread has purchased 7,674,608 shares at a cost excluding dealing and associated costs of £217,832,982.48.
Following settlement of the above transaction, Whitbread will hold 12,454,718 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 181,354,826 ordinary shares in issue (including treasury shares).
Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Whitbread will be 168,900,108 and this figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator when determining whether they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Whitbread under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
